Development Application

The Development Application stage focuses on obtaining council approval for the proposed development. This involves preparing architectural plans and coordinating the required supporting documentation to demonstrate compliance with relevant planning controls and site constraints. We manage the preparation and submission of the Development Application and guide the process through council assessment, responding to requests for additional information as required.

Architectural Plans

Architectural plans form the basis of the Development Application and illustrate the proposed development in detail. These drawings demonstrate the building layout, form, scale and relationship to the site, allowing council to assess the proposal against relevant planning controls and development standards.

BASIX Assessment

A BASIX Assessment is required for most residential developments to demonstrate compliance with energy and water efficiency requirements. We coordinate the preparation of the BASIX Certificate and ensure the design responds to the nominated sustainability commitments for inclusion with the Development Application.

Statement of Environmental Effects

The Statement of Environmental Effects outlines how the proposed development responds to site conditions, planning controls and environmental considerations. This document supports council assessment by addressing key planning matters and demonstrating the suitability of the proposal for the site.

Application Submission

We manage the preparation and lodgement of the Development Application, ensuring all required documentation is compiled and submitted correctly. Throughout the assessment process, we coordinate responses to council requests and guide the application through to determination.
